Learning Sessions

Ideal for corporations, agencies, and organizations of all sizes

Learning Sessions are a great way to deepen your personal and organizational capacity to celebrate diversity, manage conflict and create cultures of connection across lines of difference. I offer multiple learning sessions, each designed for groups of any size. The format will vary depending on the group size, on whether the workshop is virtual or in-person, and on whether or not breakout sessions are included. We are often able to customize these workshops to accommodate the time and format you have in mind.

Possible Learning Session Topics:

  • How to talk about the tough stuff: perspectives and practices for navigating conflict in the office

  • Racial identity for everyday people: Understanding who we are and how it impacts our work

  • Diversity to Equity Framework: creating alignment as you nurture change in your organizational life

  • Culture over everything: 10 must-have values to create an inclusive culture

  • Regenerative Frameworks for social change: nature-based lessons for growth and healing in the world

  • Introduction to seasonal living: leaning into nature’s rhythms and cycles for productivity and emotional health

  • Becoming a race conscious leader: foundational practices to lead towards wholehearted organizational diversity

Wellness Spaces

Ideal for teams recovering from burnout, processing heartbreak from world events, or navigating grief from organizational changes

These are 30-60 minute spaces (depending on group size) for team members who are processing or responding to gut-wrenching tragedies in the news, in the political landscape, or even in their personal lives—especially the tragedies related to their own identity or communities they care about. These spaces are anchored in contemplation and reflection, with less emphasis on dialogue and discussion. This is not a training space. This is not an educational or corrective space. This is a space for people to slow down, grieve, to acknowledge their pain, and to be witnessed empathetically in their process. As your facilitator, I set and hold firm boundaries to this end.

Session structures vary, but typically include:

  • a grounding exercise (meditation, breath work)

  • a contemplative exercise (likely focused on writing, movement, art, etc.)

  • a moment for group sharing and empathetic listening

“Creating the cultures of the future is our responsibility. Closing diversity gaps, near and far, is our challenge and our opportunity.”

Facilitation Partnerships

Ideal for small (up to 60 people) corporations, agencies, and organizations

Facilitation and Coaching Partnerships are 6-to-9 month coaching and facilitation engagements where I serve as your go-to space holder. Whether you are deepening your organization’s capacity to manage diversity, exploring the foundations of actualizing racial equity, or creating spaces to support the specific wellbeing of people of color on your team, I would be honored to facilitate expansive, heart-centered and race conscious experiences for your organization.

You are a good fit for a partnership if your team:

  • Is eager to build your capacity to manage and sustain a diverse organizational culture

  • Is willing to take responsibility for your own growth and learning

  • Has a clear sense of what you want to accomplish in your organizational life related to race, diversity, equity, justice, and inclusion

  • Is aligned with my commitment to wholehearted leadership and self-reflection

Most partnerships include a combination of learning sessions, wellness spaces, reflective coaching and strategic support for your organization.

Partnership Frequently Asked Questions

  • Our first step is a partnership discovery call where I get to learn more about you organization and your needs. This is also where you can ask me any questions about what it would be like for us to work together.

  • It is imperative for potential partners to understand that the work we do together is deep and transformative. It challenges your assumptions. It disrupts business as usual. Our process is anchored in thinking critically about the status quo. Nothing about this is checking a box or giving quick fixes. If you’re not quite ready to revolutionize your leadership, your company, or your industry, a long-term partnership might not be for you. We recommend you consider a keynote or a workshop instead.

  • The minimum financial investment for a partnership is $10,000.

The minimum time investment is 6 months.

  • We’re open to this possibility! Every so often, we find a partner with whom there’s truly a magical connection. If that turns out to be you, we’d love to explore a contract extension.
